All the SEC fans that hate the AGGIES are in your conference are idiots... our entrance doubled your tv sets and your money so suck it.
And your welcome!

LSU will lose to UA, UGA, A&M, and probably OM next year. Because when both the offense and defense are "average" that is what happens.
Name the last time Chavis had a "average" defense.
I'm not praising the FB overlords for us getting Cam Cameron. I'm waiting to see the product we field in 2013, but that said a stale and predictable offense was more than enough to beat the frick out of almighty A&M. Yes, we did beat the frick out of you. You got a garbage TD with a minute left. Up to that point you had not produced shite for 3 quarters.

You forgot Florida. We'll lose to Florida too, right?
That's okay, as long as we get the upset over State, I'm happy.

That's being generous. Our offense sucks and our defense just lost everyone, so we probably won't make a bowl game.

I'd like you to tell me what's so different then, coach?

How do you figure that?

LSU running the no huddle will end up like Texas attempting to do so... and no defense is on their heels with LSU's offense.
We've actually run it quite a bit the past 3 years.

I have a LOT of friend in the DC area, and not a single one was upset about Cam leaving - they all think he just plain sucks.
Yeah, he just plain sucks. Explain how Baltimore's offense was better before they fired him? It's not his fault his defense couldn't stop RGIII. It that happens he never gets fired.

So I see more suck for LSU - you should have gone out and gotten a real college OC, but I'm glad you didn't.
Cool. Then our "suck" will still beat your "best ever" again next year.

Bookmarked.

LSU rebuilds the ENTIRE defense this year. So many players wanted out of BR it was alarming. Chavis is awesome, but he's human too.
And A&M learned from the LSU game last year. Sumlin went to KK and told him to RUN the DAMN ball more, and we went on a tear after that loss.
So we should really thank you...

The very concept is different. Florida and Auburn ran a run-heavy spread relient upon a downfield playaction passing game. A&M runs a pass-heavy spread with more no-back sets and a timing dink and dunk approach. A&M utilized far more designed pass plays that either of the offenses you mentioned did. Both Auburn and Florida relied heavily upon their TEs for run blocking and pass receiving, while A&M's TE literally never saw the field. A&M ran less than 20% of our plays out of a 2+ back set, Florida and Auburn both ran such formations in excess of 40% of the time. A&M uses a zone-blocking scheme, Florida and Auburn both used a man drive-blocking scheme. Florida and Auburn relied heavily on perimeter and option runs, A&M rarely used either, employing a delayed dive run style popularized by Mike Leach.
The differences are blatant and numerous.

Half were at LSU for 4 years and leaving to go in the 1st Round isn't anything "alarming"

And every SEC team knows what to expect from A&M this year......works both ways.
A&M will not be taken seriously until the D improves

There is definitely a huge difference between the Meyer and Malzahn offenses versus what Sumlin runs. Two completely different schools of thought.

You will see a lot more running and passes to the RB's out of A&M next year. The TE will actually be incorporated into the offense.

I thought Meyer ran the spread-OPTION

In the Spring of 2011, we had 1 player on the All-SEC team. If the biggest flaw we have is that our athletes are so good they almost all leave after 3 years, I'll take it.

Sending players to the NFL early is a bad thing now?
Posted on 3/15/13 at 3:38 pm to ProjectP2294
it is when you lose the majority of your defense and they aren't even seniors.

I mean that was a part of his offense. He did a lot of power stuff too in the run game. Lots of pulling by the backside which I don't believe I ever saw A&M do this season.

Stupid is thinking you will lose the majority of your defense and have no drop off. I've already admitted A&M will lose to Alabama because of the losses in the front seven.
But LSU fans think Chavis is simply unbeatable, no matter the circumstances.
