Hence the new offensive coordinator brainiac...

A coordinator who was recently fired by Baltimore for failing to develop a consistent style that fit their personel.

Good call, brainiac.

You are the worst kind of Agg. Kill yourself you stupid frick.

One season of finishing THIRD in your division and y'all are now great innovators we all should model our offenses after?

It astounds how so many college football fans can be so ignorant of the game itself.

You literally have no idea how truly different the Florida and Auburn spreads were from A&M's, do you? Urban Meyer and Kevin Sumlin run completely different offensive schemes.

The spread is NOT new to the SEC, and A&M is a copycat in this respect. I just thought that LSU, Alabama and such wouldn't change their offense to suit everyone else.

Apparently only Saban can withstand the pressure, and has his own identity. Miles caved, probably after losing to Alabama yet AGAIN.

Or the guy that was one play away from having back to back Super Bowl offenses.

When you say "THAT offense" people think you are referring to the HUNH, which has been run in the SEC prior to A&M, and not the Leach/Mumme offense. There is a disconnect between what you are implying.

Surprisingly enough, more goes on in a football game than offensive production, which A&M set SEC records in last year.

I have respect for Bama fans, but you sound like a boucher right now. Don't fall into the pit of football ignorance that the standard LSU fan lives in.

Miles "caved" because he apparently knows as much about offense as many of his fans on this board.

For all his good qualities, it's amazing how frequently he can put great offensive talent, especially at the QB position, to waste. A school of LSU's caliber should never struggle as much with their offensive identity.

Now he's desperately flinging crap against the wall and hoping something sticks.

I couldn't be happier with Cam aboard...

The LSU offense has devolved into stagnant mud the last 2 seasons, and probably kept US from winning back to back championships...

I think Cam will be an excellent mentor to Mettenberg and will focus on tempo and keeping the Defense on its heels...

this quote right here is huge IMO:

“We got in a lot more plays than we do normally,” running back Jeremy Hill said. “Like coach says, it’s organized chaos. We want the defense back on their heels. It’ll probably take a week to get used to this fast pace, but we’ll get used to it.”

LSU with a potent offense is a dangerous animal...we're going to be a lot better next year than people think

Because people are idiots. I won't further explain myself just to pander to Louisiana's lowest common denominator.

Page 6, and the Aggies in this thread finally admit what this whole thread was about..................................................................just another pathetic attempt to make this board believe that they are better than us.

Sooooo, what's so different? Both UF and AU would spread the field, OL included, and use their QB's legs as a weapon. Manziel, on the other hand, made his best plays when the play dissolved in front of him. That's not an "offensive scheme" coach.

LSU running the no huddle will end up like Texas attempting to do so... and no defense is on their heels with LSU's offense.

I have a LOT of friend in the DC area, and not a single one was upset about Cam leaving - they all think he just plain sucks.

So I see more suck for LSU - you should have gone out and gotten a real college OC, but I'm glad you didn't.

LSU will lose to UA, UGA, A&M, and probably OM next year. Because when both the offense and defense are "average" that is what happens.

QBs under Les:

Jamarcus Russel-LSU offense was pretty good this year.
Matt Flynn-Was just an average SEC QB talent
Ryan Perrilloux-Was an idiot so we'll never know
Andrew Hatch-Not even scout squad talent
Jarret Lee-Average SEC QB
Jordan Jefferson-Below average QB, for the SWAC
Zach Mettenberger-It was his first year and he showed signs of greatness. Other times he looked worse than Jefferson.

That's hardly "great offense talent at the QB position."

Miles' biggest fault was not having a legit QB coach. We have that now. We'll see how things go.
