Why did Nick Saban repeatedly say LSU is the best job in America?

Then why did he leave? Why didn't he go back? He had several opportunities.

Your saying kids are going to make 6 million one season and then the next take less your fooling yourself it’s not real . Lau can’t guarantee this kind of money anyhow without committing violations the most you can give annually for compensation is 21.5 for all sports so that right there tells me it’s a lie .
Where did you get this information?

That 21.5 number is revenue sharing, not NIL. Two completely different things

LSU is 44-36 against Ole Miss since WW2.

Yesterday you posted Kiffin was 11-24 against ranked opponents while head coach at Ole Miss. This while also having an overall record of 55-19 there.

You are without a doubt the dumbest poster on this board.

July 1st will be 5 full years of NIL in college sports, and we still see posters who don't understand it. WTF?

He tried but LSU was about to win another National Championship.

The Dottery number is interesting because I know LSU paid more for him but that number is much closer to what Ole Miss was offering him ($450k) to stay. That said, some of these valuations happen to also be the alleged numbers being thrown around pre-signing such as $6m for Leavitt or $4m for Seaton. The others look like actual valuation numbers because they're much more specific.

But yeah, a valuation is not a salary.

Valuation is NOT salary.

It’s speculation at best

I’d be pissed as hell if I was on Oline.
Reminds me of the rain game from Any Given Sunday when the OL decides to stop blocking for Steamin' Willie Beaman.

To be fair, those figures do include the cost of personalized, hand crafted bullet proof vests for players venturing out in Baton Rouge.

And my poor arse would just be happy with a 3.2 mill lottery ticket...and I would def rent a mansion for a month and rent a Lambo and pickup as many women as possible in that month and ask off work. Would be a very fun week. Then I will get a new Dodge Ram truck and go about life as normal.

Were you supposed to provide some logic behind the statement or were we too assume you and we just understood the context?
