I can think of 5 people in the world who desperately wanted Will Wade out of Baton Rouge.

1. John Calipari
2. Eric Musselman
3. Nate Oats
4. Dick Vitale
5. Scott Woodward

ETA: 6. Pat Forde

So we’re the #1 losers in the Nation,
People not LSU fans should listen to the minds of these McMen daily.
The excuses and delusional hope is exhausting!

"Nate Oats holds a dominant record against Will Wade, highlighted by a 3-0 sweep during the 2020-21 season while at Alabama. Oats has generally had success against Wade, including competition when Wade was at LSU and previously at VCU, often getting the better of their matchups."

Thanks to Forde, Woodward, and McSleepy, this irrelevance is worse than any NCAA sanction for whatever made up BS they alleged Wade did

Last regular season game Wade coached for LSU he beat Oats, if the refs weren't doing home cooking earlier that season in Tuscaloosa, he might have swept Oats his last season

I know Oats doesn't want McSleepy to get canned, that's an automatic W for him

15th place in the SEC and currently on a 4 game losing streak. Meanwhile, a guy named Will Wade blew the doors off a UNC team the other night. I hope it was worth it (it wasn't) to sell your soul for women's basketball. Never known a program to actually do that so LSU seems to be the first.

The problem is that LSU is putting more resources into their WBB than their men's.

Two pretty good but not great coaches who are widely considered to be assholes by most college sports fans, yet worshipped like deities by the LSU fanbase. It's a match made in heaven!

Wait why would people widely believe Wade is an a-hole?

Ftr I think LSU can do better.

Yall's old AD was an idiot for signing a mid major HC to a 7 year deal.

Just admit you'd want Lane now over DeButthead, maybe Bama would actually have a chance at running the ball

We were staring down the barrel of a serious probation gun and no coach was going to accept a short term deal.

Yeah we are currently 15th in conference but that means if the 14 teams in front of us aren't able to uphold their duties as Conference champions then we would take over. hang the banner

There will be more suffering when your football team fails to make the playoffs or wins a championship with Lame Kiffin as your HC.

Will Wade is not coming back. He has basically all but said it out right. I just hope Verge puts some thought and effort this time in hiring new coach
