How many times do you want to say 'Barkevious'?

Richardson is a better RB than Baker is a LB, so I'm sure Richardson will beat him on a few plays. But to say Baker can't tackle him by himself is a ridiculous statement... so I don't see anything wrong with what Baker said.

What do you want him to say? He is a starting linebacker for a great SEC defense. He better be confident.

Calling this bulletin board material is a stretch. What do you expect him to say? "No, there's no way I can take him alone?"? Even if this is the case, he can't say that.

When did, " I can tackle him" become so darn troublesome.

He's supposed to say that he can't tackle him on one one.

On the flip side, Richardson is supposed to disagree and state that he can, in fact, be tackled solely by Baker.

Anything else is strictly poor sportsmanship.

If a DB can knock him out of the game last year I would imagine that a LB could at least tackle him... Bama fans

I didn't read anything but the OP and this page but this is another who gives a shite moment. What's he supposed to say? I've never understood why fans want bulletin board stuff.

And of course he could tackle Trent. If Trent's in the open field at full speed is he just going to be able to stone him? But he can bring him down by himself, especially if the defensive line slows his momentum.

HOLY shite, I saw this interview and I knew someone would take it out of context.
He was asked if he could tackle him one on one. Did not sound cocky at all. Here is the interview
LINK
its under interviews.
4:40 mark. Not cocky at all. Yall are fricking ridiculous.

This just further proves the brilliance of Nick Savanna. He
recruited Dre Kirkpatrick and Kenny Bell just for big games like this. Not for their on field play but for the fact they will never provide the other team with bulletin board material. The simple fact is: NO ONE CAN DECIPHER A SINGLE THING EITHER ONE SAYS.

The question was asked right after they discussed the possibility of lil wayne being at the game and whether or not he is an LSU fan. While they were laughing someone asked if he could "bring down Richardson". He didn't hear at first and asked "what do you mean break him down?" then it was asked if he could tackle him, he said yeah while smiling and laughing.

It wasn't a big deal, big stretch by some Bama fans.
