Reminds me when Saban brought big bad 1 loss alabama ranked top 5 to play Utah out of the lowly Mountain West and lost by 2 tds

How anbout they embarrassed the alumni, the students, the state of Louisiana, the nation, and all the Mamas, Daddys, Mawmaws, and Pawpaws of LSU fans everywhere.

Utah had over 6 straight consecutive winning seasons prior to that game with coaches named Urban Meyer and Kyle Whittingham.
Here is Houston’s record:
2019: 4-8
2020: 3-5
2021: 12-2
2022: 8-5
Joins Big12
2023:4-8
2024: 4-8
2025: 10-3 (with easy Big12 schedule and playing LSU in bowl game)
That’s 2 winning seasons in the last 6 prior to this year, and both were prior to the B12. They were 4-8…in the B12…the last 2 seasons. Their coach is Willie Fritz, who is 65 and prior to Houston was at Tulane, GA Southern, Sam Houston St, and Central Mizzou. This was utterly embarrassing.

And Bama had the best coach of all time and a far better roster and lost by 2 tds as a 10 point favorite. LSU fired it's coach midway through the season and had several optouts. It wasn't even an upset, Houston was favored to win.
That was embarrasing to the SEC. Last night was expected.

The B1G was 2-1 against the SEC in 2006. Only loss was OSU to UF...you think anyone cares about the other two games 20 years later?
