Something is wrong when highest salaried state employees are football coaches. Universities have set the precedent and players want a piece. I just don’t see how this is sustainable and good for college athletics long term. Ivey league might be the only true college athletics in a few years.

I enjoy watching LSU sports. Does not concern me in the least about an ad that I highly doubt I even notice. I’d be kind of pissed if we won as little as South Carolina has, but not sure why you’d expect someone to be pissed about this lol. Are you suggesting LSU’s athletic budget isn’t on the same level as South Carolina’s?

NFL there is continuity in my team from year to year, for the most part. I have a connection in following the players. College football rosters have less continuity now. It’s impacting my interest more. Why get excited about a player when he can transfer ou in a year. Also, NFL just asks me to buy a ticket. College wants a ticket and a donation. There will be college fans but will they have the same fandom when asked to pony up more and more dollars each year.

This is funny coming from a South Carolina fan considering LSU competes and can win titles in football while South Carolina will never come close no matter how hard they try. But keep on making fun of thinking LSU is poor. It’s about all a USCe fan can do lol.
