I think he WAS keeping up. LSU beat Texas and OU last time they played on the field. In college football discussions, that is pretty solid logic.
Is there some other criteria you'd like to use in discussing the merits of college football programs when comparing one to the other? I'm sure YOU'D like to use some other criteria -- so .... let's hear it.

Of course that is where Bo played ball so I understand, but it seems like a lateral move? He had a great D-line class coming in at Texas.

Bo's best gift is he's a teacher. He really teaches his DL players; he is a developer. Bo is exactly what Bama is missing on the DL b/c we haven't had an elite DL since Barmore.

If it's true, he'll be a walk-on (maybe a salary adjustment for dad to cover tuition) and there is no way Brian Kelly gives a very unworthy player valuable playing time to please Bo Davis. Absolutely 0% chance.

LSU hiring Bo Davis is the equivalent of OU hiring Demarco Murray … it’s not unexpected and has nothing to do with how much money LSU has … the writing was on the wall Texas dl is losing everyone …. For those who don’t know he an lsu alum.

This wasn't about being outbid at all cause Texas could purchase the LSU campus today, its about Bo having too many connections to LSU. Good for him, but Texas is gonna be okay.
