We haven’t had a strong defense since 2011. However , Matt House has been a blessing this far. He has them getting better each week. Still lots of room for improvement, but definitely getting back to the swarming the ball defense that LSU used to play.

You have only played 1 team that has an offense in the top 20 which is FSU and you lost. Southern is an FCS team, New Mexico offense is ranked 130 in NCAA, and Mississippi State offense is ranked 53rd I believe. Those defensive numbers will change over the next few weeks now your getting into the meat if your schedule.

I thought it was impressive to hold state to 200 yards below their average. The defense was good at the end of the regular season last year and better now.
I was hoping we were just sneaking up on people but no we got Stephen here to frick it up. Any time we do anything good he has to draw attention and it goes to shite instantly.
