Good question
FAA says they can talk. They talk. Womack backs out. FAA rule makes it seem like it was never signed. LSU penalized.

not exactly. There are contact rules which LSU circumvented. They did so knowing the kid was looking around. And it isn't like he flipped out of the blue in December. He spent the whole fall visiting other schools. Hell he didn't even enroll early which means LSU broke the rules even if he had signed with LSU.
This isn't about someone changing their mind. It's about LSU using the FAA to be cavalier with the contact rules
