College Station sucks. The mouthbreathing people, gulag architecture, ugly land, strip mall restaurants, and the adorable little guys in their army costumes. It’s bad.

Article has a lot of good points but also misses another major point.
Most major teams charge close to $100 per ticket for big games (if not more). That is just a lot of money to expect people to pay for crappy seats which all away fans get.
It used to be you could get tickets for $35 to most stadiums just 15 years ago. At that price fans can go to multiple away games. At over $100 to sit in the corner of an upper deck, it just encourages people to stay home.

Certainly, $100 for end zone seats doesn't encourage daytrippers, but, if you are getting a hotel room in one of these small college towns that require a 2 night minimum at 3 times their normal rate, the cost of the ticket is a drop in the bucket.

LSU is a Championship level program. Playing a 7-4 perennial mediocre team isn’t that exciting. Unfortunately LSU is banged up this is Faggie best chance to break the streak.
