LSU had the best defense in the country.

In consecutive games, LSU’s defense shut down Mond, Fromm, Hurts, and Lawrence. Trevor Lawrence did by far the best and ended 18-37 for 234 and 0 tds passing. No other defense in the nation could have done what LSU’s defense did in those last four games. Also the NFL draft will tell the story as well. This year and next years drafts will be littered with LSU defensive players. “But muh Ole Miss and Vanderbilt “ Those teams were scrimmage games for LSU.

It was Georgia and it’s not even close.

Burrow would put up 70 on y’alls defense. It’s good not great.

Y’all have lost your God damned minds.

How did the dawgs lose to the Cocks, then, said defense being so great. And Burrow could have easily rang up 50 + against said defense.

Vandy scored 38 on LSU. C’mon, man.

There sure was a lot of talk that Lawrence was just as good as burrow or better, especially on this board.
But he only put up 25. And not a single one of those was through the air.

Not close? Lol. So Georgia’s defense would have shut down Hurts and Lawrence like LSU did? They definitely couldn’t stop LSU and South Carolina’s 2nd/3rd string QB scored like 23 and got the W.

You might want to watch a game instead of looking like an idgit

Oh STFU...this team just keeps getting greater.
10 years from now y'all will be claiming no one scored on you and you were putting up 100 points a game.

4 turnovers (1 being a pick six) and special teams miscues. The defense allowed 10 points in regulation.

I’m not agreeing with OP, but our defense only gave up 24 to Vandy. Other two td’s were a pick 6 and a scoop and score.

South Carolina scored 13 pts on offense, 10 of them in regulation
Georgia's defense didn't lose that game

South Carolina's offense didn't score with their 3rd string QB. All they had to do was protect the ball because our own offense made so many mistakes.

Just like LSU’s defense in the SECCG...

Georgia’s offense gave up more points to us than their defense did. Our back up did nothing but run out the clock until ot.
Georgia had a stacked defense this season. Fromm picked a bad time to have the worst game of his career.

Fromm threw as many TD passes to South Carolina players as he did to UGA players.
The UGA defense is what kept them from getting blown out.

And they protected the ball successfully, their offense did enough with the 2nd and 3rd string QBs. Georgia’s defense was dang good, but they couldn’t have shut down the offenses and QBs LSU did down the stretch. More NFL talent, LSU’s D was bigger, faster, stronger and came through when it counted.
