Without going over all your points I think we can sum it up as USC has a puncher's chance.
Which sounds insulting but Rocky Marciano went 49-0 with a puncher's chance.
At home, early in the season... that leans heavily towards South Carolina. They aren't as deep as Georgia but early in the season that won't matter as much.
I think if South Carolina wins they are in the driver's seat for the East. If Georgia wins they still have a very tough schedule to get through so they can't let up.

You play more at Williams Brice. 03 and 08 are the only games you’ve played at tiger stadium this century I believe, going 1-1. What’s your record at Williams Brice?
5-3 during this century.
But 1-3 this decade and even the wins when we are better were close games.
I think we put up over 50 points on LSU the last time we were in Baton Rouge.

Yeah I remember that game. 52-38 I think
Fun fact about 08 LSU - UGA: Leading receiver in the game was your Mike Linebacker, D. Gamble, with 90+ yards and 2 TDs
Jarret Lee to D. Gamble had more production than Stafford to AJ Green.

Gee, I doubt this an alter. Seems really legit to me.

Great analysis. I agree with all of it. We used hurst more for blocking than we should have, but we also had alot of OLineman injured last year, so we may be able to free up more TE's for receiving.
Deebo will be a huge factor, and now he will be more deadly because if they sleep on our other guys, theyll get boned.
Basically we need to establish, at the very least, a mild run game. Thats what we lack alot that would give us a push. If we cant get that going, and this turns into a defensive battle like you said, we're done.
Cook, Hurst, Adams, DiMarco (played TE and FB in college)

But Georgia will have all of their suspended players back in time for LSU.

I don’t know what an alter is but I enjoy talking about football. Sooooo I am not sorry for bringing up two of the biggest games in the 2018 season? Also these are games that effect the playoff picture. (Thanks for the people sticking up for a good topic)

hadn't thought about that game in a long time.

I thought it was a solid topic. I'm new here though, so I'm not sure about the alter thing. I think they think all new people are just an existing users new account. Not sure what the point of that would be though.

I'm convinced SC will have a more productive offense than will UGA by the time we meet for Game 2 this season and we're going to move the ball and score on Geoegia.
Convinced your offense will be more productive? Even though you're bringing in a new OC and we return 8 of 11 starters? Y'all have talent at the receiver position but saying you're convinced your offense will be better (especially early in the season) is quite the stretch.
Also would like to point out that UGA averaged around 100 more YPG (433.62 to 340.17) and 10 PPG (34.92 to 24.08) than South Carolina last season.

I don't know why you are responding to me when that's not my quote. Not hard to figure out how to reply to the person that says something.
Since you said it, yes I can almost guarantee we will have a better offense than last year. We have a solid QB in his 3rd year, and our receivers are one of the most talented units in the nation.
Deebo was injured for all but 2 games last year and he was one of our best offensive players.
We had 3 starting OLineman down for several games last year, and one game we were down 4 out of 5 starting lineman.
(crazy how I just correctly quoted the person who said it. Wild, I know.)
Our OC was the WR coach last year and was there the whole time, recruited lights out, and was OC for the Michigan bowl game where we scored 26 (as you stated, this is above our season average) against a top 3 defense in the nation.
So yes, I think our Offense will be better than last year. Also, you had Michel and Chubb last year and went to the playoffs. No shite your offensive was better. As I stated though. I didnt say we would be better. but we could be.

quote:That was a different game, 1987 Gator Bowl. I remember that one well because I was an LSU student at the time. Fun game, you guys had Sterling Sharpe and the Black Death defense, but Tommy Hodson to Wendell Davis couldn't be stopped.
I remember us winning there, pouring down rain ... I think Mike Archer was there then.
