1 1988 Auburn because it was for an SEC title .
2. 2007 Auburn because we won a National championship.
3 bluegrass miracle because it was iconic.
4. LSU vs Az state, Les Miles game one after Katrina . Les did a successful third and long fake punt that game. From. His. Own. End zone. Freaking Les.
5. LSU Tennessee shite show.
6. Troy shite show 2.

I think LSU has a frickton of close 4th quarter craziness because we havent known how to properly beat down an inferior opponent for years.
We had a lot of them during Les' tenure because it was a big part of his philosophy to win the game in the 4th quarter, which drove me nuts.

I think PeeDip you are not quite getting the fact with Miles track record of clock issues running a play there guaranteed nothing especially if the play was picked off. Let me enjoy it how I want too. That was the most exciting ending to a game I can remember. Could have easily lost that game.

You're missing the 2010 UF game with the over-the-back basketball bounce on the fake FG.

The review alone was 15 min long.

After the touchdown, LSU kicked off to Ole Miss, which then drove down the field to the LSU 5-yard line. After three plays Ole Miss was at the LSU 1-yard line. On fourth down and the final play of the game, LSU defensive back Warren Rabb, with an assist from Cannon, tackled Ole Miss' Doug Elmore short of the goal line as time expired to preserve the 7–3 LSU victory.

If Ole Miss scores from the 1 yd line, the Cannon punt return is not famous. Cannon might not have won the Heisman. those LSU-Ole Miss games were amazing for about 20 years.

look at the clock in the picture with the video. the clock shows one second left, and Bert Jones has just released the ball. That pass was incomplete, the clock should have ran out and Ole Miss wins.

6. 2005 LSU vs Arizona State (Jamarcus Russel throws dime to beat ASU late after game was moved to Tempe due to storm) 35-31

This one is really underrated because it wasn't last play of the game but this pass was on 4th/10 from the ASU 40 and Jamarcus literally flicked it into the end zone to the perfect spot only Early Doucet could get it and he just kept his feet in for the score.

If you watch this play closely, I'm fairly certain doucet dropped the ball. This was before you could review plays I college, so it couldnt be looked at and overturned.

Or maybe he didnt secured the catch before he got his feet in bounds. Had to watch again to be sure

I was there. My first big home game as a student. We thought for sure the game was over and then it got so quiet because we realized it was a legal play.

Do you really think that outside of college station that this game is a big deal?

Actually Les was mad they ran it. It was in the playbook under certain conditions but it wasn’t supposed to happen on our own 30yd line

We were sitting in the endzone that happened in. Row 2. After the game “ended” all I could see was drinks and bottles being thrown over our heads onto the field. Meanwhile my dad is jumping up and down next to me pointing at flags all over

Most overrated coach of all-time. I’ve said it for years, even when LSU was at their peak.
