thats.a crock....BK had top 10 classes every single year.
So when you win on sighing day your a top 5 job in the country.
But when a new coach comes in the cubbord his bare and the previous coach left the program in shambles.

Record doesn't matter as much as improvement. I want to see an effective offense and hopefully no drop off in defense. I am not looking for an SEC championship or a CFB spot. I am looking for a more competitive and efficient team. Wins will come. How many? I do not know. I just want to watch the team and think "they got a shot at winning this game".

Ten days ago my default guess was 9-3 and missing the playoffs
If LSU signs the Colorado tackle then it changes to 10-2 and make the at large playoff field.
There are seven easily losable games. Early games against Clemson, A&M, Ole Miss. Then a series @Auburn, Alabama, Texas (the week after Alabama), and Tennessee
10-2 would be really good for a new coach, new OL, new quarterback. They are spending in the portal like they expect to compete for the playoffs. Which is a little lofty for the new everything but NIL makes everything a one year contract and potentially make it or break it

LSU fans are too stupid to be ashamed. To be self-aware requires a higher IQ than most LSU fans possess. They can get humiliated on Saturday and be on this forum chattering like monkeys on Sunday.

I watch/follow football for entertainment.
It’s been a success already.
BK was flaccid. Meh. Etc. It wasn’t fun to follow LSU football after his second season and the fun was generated by JD5, not excitement about the program.
