The attempt by some LSU fans to "extract a W" from this is puzzling. In the end, they don't have those NFL guys on the roster...which was the crux of the issue.
And if you accept their flawed logic that other teams have essentially done the same thing, then those teams got their NFL players while LSU did not.
I get that everyone loves to hate Sankey and the SEC office, but I don't know how LSU fans arrive at the conclusion that they "won" something.

We were sued by someone and they backed down from the lawsuit because they realized that a court would not rule their way. Pretty simple.

I'm amazed at the blind loyalty of Kiffin. The guy has coached one game and the fans think he is the next Saban. Kiffin loves this drama and creates it.
History:
TN debacle
USC thought so much of him they fired him at the airport
Saban fired him the week before a national championship game.
Left O Miss while in the playoffs and took coaches with him initially.
Now creating drama at LSU
The guy is a good coach but a jerk and will screw LSU like he has everyone else.
If Saban thought so highly of Kiffin, why wasn't he approached for the Alabama job when Saban retired? Saban knows who he is.
