Now that the coaching thing dies down it seems that level heads are starting to prevail. It's good to see as both sides have had their retarded moments. Anyway, I've seen a lot more support from them for our playoff run and wanted to pass along a "thank you."

I have no idea how the game turns out on Thursday. I'm not really sure when we will be in a playoff again, so trying to make the best of it. All I know is that I'm just happy to be here.

The sun will rise for both programs. Kudos to Ole Miss for putting the SEC on their backs.

Aside from Indiana, Miami is the worst matchup in CFP for Ole Miss, because Miami D Line. Ole Miss is completely dependent verse very good teams on Chambliss scrambling ability. Like 100% dependent on it to win. Miami D Line is filthy with 16 sacks and 20 TFLs in the CFP. I’m excited to watch this game, but I’d enjoy seeing Chambliss get shut down by guys 60 pounds heavier than him haha.

And they did that verse 2 top 5 OLs in college this year.

I’d have said that before UGA but despite the two plays where Chambliss scrambled and made big plays, he only rushed for 14 yds against UGA. I saw no to few designed quarterbacks runs. Chambliss was just executing great passes mostly. Isn’t Miami out a starting DT? I don’t doubt Chambliss gets sacked several times. But I think OM will gameplan around Miami’s strengths on defense.

I'm pulling for SEC and Ole Miss
Chamblis is a really good story and player to rally behind in this new portal era
I would put it up there with any recent SEC run going through UGA, Miami and either Oregon or Indiana

I would say Ole Miss paid out the least of that group in NIL except for maybe UGA who might be the last team to rely on stacked recruiting classes outside of Ohio St

It's a different era and the days of teams like Bama and UGA dominating are over. I continue to laugh at Texas and Aggies trying to buy a title, would be awesome to see Ole Miss win one before those two.

I'm just glad that no matter what, a new team is going to win a playoff championship.

I'd really rather it not be Oregon or Miami. Those programs need to suffer for their hand in what NIL has become.

Chambliss is impossible not to root for. Ole Miss & IU are the best stories in CFB.

The Kiffin shite is fun & we are all elated to be rid of Kelly & Brad Davis, but it’s a lot of fun to watch scrappy teams that want to be there.

IU vs Ole Miss for a natty would be good for the sport.

That said, we will definitely be here posting gifs and trolling if you lose

I had to have fun with it for a couple of days. But, my honest opinion is that any success Ole Miss is having now is directly attributed to our head coach. I'm in no way trying to take anything away from Golding. He's doing an amazing job regardless of circumstance. When you factor in the very unusual circumstances, he has just been phenomenal. At the end of the day though, Lane chose the players and the coaches including Golding. The guy obviously knows what he's doing and if the people he put in place are having success then that means good things for LSU.

Landmass I truly hope OM wins it all. Very deserving. All the other crazy stuff between our programs has been silly. I understand it, but silly. Our two programs will rise up out of the mud slinging and in the end I think both programs will be fine. Good Luck, take Miami down.

2 reasons I think you’re wrong:

1st, I’d venture to say that maybe half of Chambliss passing yards are dependent on him being able to scramble outside the pocket. You can do that verse teams with average DL, but hard to do that verse Miami DL that just faced 2 top 5 offensive lines and compiled around 15 sacks and 20 TFLs

It’s not about rushing yards, but him being limited in expanding plays outside the tackles, but I could obviously be wrong. His game is relatively very low pocket passer, very high outside tackles.

2nd, Miami has 3 top 18 picks on their DL. I haven’t heard any DL getting drafted at UGA. Most Miami’s DL is top half first round nfl picks.

I could be 100% wrong. I just see Chambliss passing yards and rushing yards go down because he won’t be able to scramble outside the tackles.

Chambliss is going to be a problem for Miami. It should be a fun match up.
