Take the first step in some therapy and say something nice about another SEC state and your home state of Louisiana.

We all talk shite about each other's states on here, that's just part of being in the South. Reality is we'd pretty much all be comfortable being transplanted into any other member state, but home is home. I may hate Tennessee and the Vols the most, for example, but reality is Tennessee would be my first choice if I had to pick another state to live in......because it is the most like Kentucky.
What is weird to me is how much Louisiana folks bag on their own state on here. Kentuckians are proud to be from Kentucky. It is definitely a thing here. Louisiana folks couldnt be more opposite in this regard.

As a recent transplant to Louisiana nearly a year ago, I give Louisianans credit for recognizing the obvious. This state has great food and decent people but the state itself is a train wreck.
Louisiana's government and state laws make Alabama look highly sophisticated by comparison. Auto insurance rates in Louisiana, for example, are an embarrassment. Most expensive in the country and nearly double the state with the 3rd highest rates
