I mean, have you seen the odds for the next LSU coach?

Saban, followed by Kiffin, followed by Brady.

Unless you think these sports books are idiots, pretty good chance one of these three is the next coach.
Not idiots. Sportsbooks wanting your money and preying on your emotions.

Inaccurate betting lines/odds are absolutely a disaster for whatever sports book is putting them out.

If the first three choices I mentioned are total bullshite, the sports book will get exposed by insider info and/or sharp bettors on the longer odds. Which they are not.

ETA in fact the odds are going more towards good candidates.

And that’s not to say that LSU cannot get a shite coach. Because they might. But to say there isn’t high level interest in this job by really good candidates is absurd.

Saban had a weekly round of golf, for years. Y’all are reaching, trying to defend this storm. If they had anything on him, that matters, it would have been released already. They fired the dude, offered him 25mil, then 30mil, to walk away and now they are telling the world that they didn’t fire him. It would be a great movie! LSU may just end up with Coach O, and broker than ever. Hate to see it.

I wouldn’t want to coach there after this debacle.

So well said! I feel sympathy for you guys. What a horrible spot to be in. Hiring a great coach is hard under the best of circumstances. I truly hope you guys get a great coach in spite of all of this nonsense.

At what point do the players start looking at this situation and start wondering if any promises made by LSU would be honored

I'm sure that point has been hammered to every single LSU prospect by the other SEC coaches during the last week or so. "Do you want the Governor pulling your NIL money?"

I get it.

This is scary for you.

It's going to be ok.

Maybe.

None of them are touching the LSU train wreck. A program run by politicians. Wow. Saban isn’t coming out of retirement. He has said it over amd over. He is in the twilight of his life. Kiffin won’t bother with a Governor during to get out of a coaching buyout. Frank Wilson will be their coach. And he’s a good guy and good coach.

LSU named the wrong HC. It's Lane Kiffin and he is the HC at Ole Miss.
