At least when Ole Miss players fake injuries it’s to beat people.

Well LSU started with I think 78 on Scholarship. So, there are 17 that are out with injury which brings you to 61. Now some of those I think are guys with injuries that could wait till after the season to deal with. So that tells me they have just said I am done with O. 2 other guys have hit the portal, so that brings you do 59. Traditionally in the LSU bye week, they get Monday and Tuesday off, Wednesday maybe shorts and helmets and they do a mini type scrimmage on Thursday with all the young guys to see where they are in their development.

With only 59 Scholarship players, they can't do what they traditionally do in their bye week schedule.

LSU reduced scholarships by 8 in 2020

quote:

LSU self-imposes penalties on football program, including scholarship reduction. LSU self-imposed penalties on its football program, including a reduction in eight scholarships over the next two seasons, after an investigation uncovered NCAA violations, a source confirmed to The Athletic's Brody Miller on Wednesday.

So with 17 injured that takes the number available to the 50's.

But we are talking about a practice during a bye week before we get our asses handed to us

That means 4 per year. 81 players on the roster in 2020, 81 players on the roster in 2021. They word it that way in press releases to make it sound more punitive than it is.

Did the players quit or did O not want to coach?

Orgeron has easily surpassed Chizik in the fluke/failure metric.

At least Gene is fluent in English and got an analyst job on cable TV.

I expect O will be working in a further processing plant for Tyson.

Let me put it this way, it's much higher up the ladder relative to Auburn.
Did anyone mention Auburn, or are you feeling insecure?

We fell victim to the 3 Mikes: DuBose, Price and Shula. Yes, I've seen it before.
