TV ratings slowly coming in.
So far the weekend viewership looks like this:
5.80- Clemson @ LSU (ABC)
4.83- Boise State @ Oregon (CBS)
4.20- Baylor vs Auburn
3.80- E Carolina @ Alabama (ABC)
3.70- Colorado @ GA Tech (ABC)

I keep saying.., LSU TV draw is about the same as West Virginia.
Well that makes it official... LSU finished #6 in the Nielsen ratings last year's for teams with the highest viewership for their games. And LSU sucked last year.

Time will tell.
Part of the problem is this opening weekend had weaker matchups compared to some years.
Texas-Ohio State got 16M+ last year. There was no such game this season.

Did the game belong on sat night?
Maybe if the rest of the nation would step up and actually schedule someone they may have had a better option

Not surprising, there's a reason their game is relegated to SECN+ this week. Charlotte @ Ole Miss is on ESPN 2 and Southern Miss @ Auburn is on SEC Network. La Tech @ LSU is on SECN+

Every sec team will have a game on sec network plus moron

How so? Auburn vs Baylor scored over 4 million despite neither team being ranked. I'll have to check the records later, but it's probably been awhile since a game between two unranked teams scored that high... especially up against the #2 team playing in a nail biter in the same window.

Obviously the delayed start hurt the ratings
Do you think?
A blowout after the 1st quarter didn’t help either!
The millions of LSU haters out there weren’t sticking around for that.

Yea, you guys should kick LSU out of the SEC. They can’t bring the views.

Here are the other games on SECN+ this week
Furman @ Florida
Towson @ USCe
Delaware @ Vandy
La Tech is an in state semi-rival for LSU, SECN+
Texas played Texas State last week which is an equivalent matchup, 2:30 on ESPN

It's not the 2nd game of a supposed dynasty run under a new coach for Texas
Tickets are available for $19 for that LSU game
