..ly WEAK.
Obviously the delayed start hurt the ratings, but for a brand the size of LSU, these numbers were embarrassingly low.
Total Viewership: 5.8 million (down 44% from same game last season
A sub 6 million game is very bad for a Saturday ABC primetime slot.

Honestly shocked that many watched it so late. Would have been 10 mil if started at regular time

I keep saying.., LSU TV draw is about the same as West Virginia.
Except when they play a team that already draws high ratings like Bama, UGA, OU, Texas, or A&M.

You don’t say? People probably got invested in other games during the delay. Then we kicked their arse and there was nothing to watch.

By the time it did start, it wasn't prime time anymore.
Does auburn even play football anymore?

Not currently as far as I can remember. I think they’re focused on claiming more old natties for now.

Ya think?
Also an unranked Clemson team that managed only 1 first down in the first half.
Once LSU got a pick six, the game was essentially over.

Very bad is a good description for Clemson.
Kiffin completely humiliated Dabo.
But your argument is that the most watched game of the entire weekend didn't draw enough eyeballs?
Great argument bro.

TV ratings slowly coming in. So far the weekend viewership looks like this:

4.83- Boise State @ Oregon (CBS)
4.20- Baylor vs Auburn
3.80- E Carolina @ Alabama (ABC)
3.70- Colorado @ GA Tech (ABC)
Still waiting on numbers from ESPN, FOX, and NBC, plus games from Sunday and Monday.

Bama vs ECU getting 3.8 is insane

I honestly thought it would get 5+ considering there was hardly any competition in that slot.
All these ratings seem way off, IMO
