LSU was better. That simple.

Play this game 10 times and it's 5-5.

Stidham is so overrated.

I think Stidham actually has a lot of talent.
But, his talents are wasted on doing Gus-like shite like always faking a pass after a handoff. Probably blows half of practice time perfecting a new version of the whirley bird play, instead of actual 7 on 7 type drills.

Would have went Auburn’s way. Why do y’all continue to bring that up?

The only thing that was wrong was one should have been called holding...

The first PI call on that drive is getting blasted because the replay video starts too late to show the receiver being hooked and slowed down. The only legit argument I've heard against that call is that the penalty might have occurred before the ball was thrown, and if so should have been a 5-yd holding call instead of PI. But he was clearly held up.

There is no argument against the 2nd PI on that drive. Video shows the arm being held down.

I agree with this. Stidham gives the feeling of a pocket passer. Stop the gimicky shite, put him in the shotgun with a 3 or 4 WR set and let him make throws. They have a good OL and RB squad. Play to his strengths. Don’t force him into a system.

That had nothing to do with the outcome of the game though. LSU just made more plays. Auburn made more mistakes and Gus was just Gus.

I agree with you last two points. We're not near a complete team. Oline bad. Dline didn't even try on pass rush. The dline just stood there.
However, the two bad PI calls gave them two 1st downs and 30 yards on the last drive, and the last fg.

2 gift picks, bad snap on the other fg (even tho it was 50+ yards, not taking the fg in the 1st, allowing 3rd down conversions all day, bad showing for Auburn.

Auburn is a much better team when they're underdogs with a chip rather than when they sit around blowing sunshine up each other's asses.

Auburn recovered the fumble anyways. It would have made a 3 yard difference. I don’t know why people are frustrated with no review there.

Orgeron > Gus.

Gus has built our team into a rolling mound of soft baby shite.

LSU always plays hard nosed football. We tap-dance in panties while playing a piccolo.

Your OL is not bad. I thought LSU was going to get in the back a lot more than they did. Y’all were able to get a lot of push. And I don’t think your front 7 was bad either. Steele sent the blitz often and hard. LSU’s OL was just ready for it. I don’t think anyone predicted LSU’s OL to play the way it did. We can argue over the PI calls, but it is what it is. Don’t be so hard on your team. They have a lot of potential.

Yep, and of course he won't develop the black QB's we have for the system he likes to run. Instead we're going after pocket passing white boys and Gus doesn't know how to run an offense like that.

What is the classification of those QBs? If they are young, obviously you don’t olay them over Stidham.

Stidham is just an average QB. I don’t think he’s meant for the next level.
I want to know how he's paying for that giant engagement ring he gave his fiancee'. I hope he didn't get a loan based on an expectation he's going to be playing on Sundays.

Our OL is abysmal because instead of having talented upperclassmen in the starting five, we have a converted DE at LT, three mediocre scrubs in the middle, and then a transfer from an FCS-tier school.

That’s all thanks to JB Grimes first embarrassing recruiting stint at Auburn.

He’s gonna completely ruin Gus’s career and Gus is either to stupid or stubborn to do anything about it.

That was a double chin strap game from start to finish. Both teams fought hard. I am glad for the win but if they played it again today I could easily see Auburn with the W.

Really? That’s the same OL that pushed our front 7 right down the field for 3 straight TDs. Like I told someone else, don’t be so hard on your team. It’s still very early in the year and your team has a lot potential.

If you don't think those PI's were legit then either you are blind, don't know football, or are just a douchbag that can't accept losing...

I thought the defenses were pretty even. The OL play was where I saw a glaring difference. LSU was able to keep our guys put of the backfield for the most part, and we were not. Devin White ate our lunch.

For whatever reason we couldnt get pressure on Burrow and that hurt us. Stidham on the other hand missed a couple throws that would have changes the game.

It was a good game. I'm sad we lost but in the light of day, I gotta tip my hat to Coach O and his staff. They played to win. Good luck the rest of the season.
