Love the hostility we’re seeing here on this. Rival fans know we’re leveling the playing field.

Question. Didnt the IRS rules for donating to athletics change recently to where the taxpayer no longer gets the tax credits the donations afforded him?

Seems like some people would have switch to giving to the university itself instead of TAF. Should have made up the difference maybe?

I could be completely wrong about the change to the IRS rules

Maybe one day, LSU can have a university the football team can be proud of.

Why is a Longhorn trying to be in the know about LSU?

OP your athletic dept gives zilch to the academic side and just 10 years ago had to actually take from the university to meet budget.

Then we could talk about the university side being annually subsidized by The University of Texas since the 1930's.

Interesting timing on that - sounds like Woodward basically telling the University to get their house in order and that TAF isn't going to be their rainy day fund anymore.

Woodward basically told the University to get its shite in order and to get off the athletic titty.

He also said alumni need to actually donate to the University, which 100% needs to happen.

No Jack.....

Just think how many Dodge Chargers we can buy now!

How many bags of cash we can fill!

How many refs we can buy!

Oh Lawd, it’s on!

Rohan, Rohan, Rohan... tsk tsk, bad boy!

How can you do any of that when the SEC office is in Birmingham filled to the doors with Alabama Alumni, and the people who schedule the SEC are all in that office, and Steve Shaw and Ritter run the refs?

Clearly you are not thinking logically. All the money laundering through OLOL hospital, and all the scrounging money away from cancer ridden kids in order to pay players, agents, handlers, will not be able to overcome the institutional bloc Alabama has built up over the years. What you WILL get is investigation by the FOA (friends of Alabama)powers in the NCAA and SEC office. And it will be prominently reported by the Alabama-centric media, ESPN, CBS, etc.

Y'all would have been better off hiding that money laundering and basketball blabbering on a cell phone shite a little better, but I guess when a large hulking orangutan gibberish talker is your football coach, it is hard to be crafty and subtle isn't it?

Yep, donating $50,000,000 to the university over 5 yrs is a sign of financial struggles. Care to share how much the aggies have donated to your university in the same time frame?

frick yes, happy to see LSU fans making things better over there with the influence they have.

Their AD is right: being good at politics isn't a real skill.

Time for the chickens to roost.

There are some multi term incumbents in DC and state capitals around the country who would strongly disagree

This is a good move by the AD. Woodward can give for certain projects just not 10 million dollars a year.
