They don't do it anymore, but driving Mike the Tiger around the field before the game while the visiting team warmed up was special. PETA sucks.

It isn't this objective. It's worth something but that's left up for you to decide on a game by game basis.

UGA plays in the 2nd most hostile environment in CFB every other year now so BR should be a piece of cake. That's Auburn. The most hostile by far is JH (Auburn again) against Alabama and nothing else comes close.

Last year half the crowd emptied out at halftime for the Auburn game.
We won.

If we were as good as we used to be Death Valley would be the same as it always has been. The moment we had a winning season in the 90’s it immediately became the toughest place to play.

It was nasty before college football became a corporate event and it priced out all the blue collar fans.

It can still show teeth for big games though.

Imagine what Troy would have done on neutral field.

It's a pretty easy place to win at

ETA: If your team is from Alabama and not named Auburn.

Death Valley home field is worth about 7 points in 1st Q, 6 points in 2nd Q, 5 points in 3rd Q and 2 points in 4th Q hence it averages out to right around 5 for whole game with the dwindling crowd

We've been doing more slow starts then fast ones lately. We're a middle game team. Come Q4, if we're not ahead, it's over. Q1, vs. good or bad teams, either 0-0 or we're losing. We probably outscore teams by at least an average of 7 in Q2-3 combined.

Night games are inherently better at all schools. I have been to a night (1998) and day (2003) game at Tiger Stadium and that place absolutely moves the needle more than a night game anywhere else. You can feel the magic in the air down on the bayou at Tiger Stadium. It’s almost hard to describe.

If this was true how bad would Bama have beaten LSU over the years.

Oddly, Bama game doesn't count. Go look at the history... outside of Saban/Miles, Bama owned LSU in Tiger Stadium. But then, turn around and look at games played at Bama, and it gets a lot more competitive. Was a couple decades where LSU won more times there than the Tide did.

Yeah, it's an odd series. LSU did pretty well in that stretch at Bama, without looking I'd say at least .500 if not better. Looked like a legit competitor vs the Tide. But every single home game was a loss, like it was a Bama-Vandy matchup.

At night it’s a beast that just takes control of the entire environment. And it’s gets in the opponents head big time. That said, GA will be a day game most likely.

I’m going to the Bama for the first time in 15 years. Can not imagine how electric it will be in DV. Can’t wait
