Surely, Kelly can keep things together in BR much better than DeBoer, right?

I mean he’s been here since fricking 1997 I’d want a change of scenery as well.

Thank you for the interest in LSU. He shredded his knee last year and before that wasn't getting a ton of carries. He is not good in pass pro and has put the ball on the turf a few times. I don't think he would play much even if healthy.

I thank him for sticking it out and giving us a few great memories. He got a ring and hopefully a degree. Wish him well.

After a high step juke on a Florida player, then tried to cut on another set of defenders, Emery tore his ACL. Probably won't play til later this season if at all. Lots of hype coming into 2020 even during COVID. 2021 he was listed out for academic reasons. He had several family members pass away because of COVID during that time and as a young man it hit him hard. A lot of tRant posters will tell you he needs to get his act together blah blah blah. Truth of the matter is he showed flashes of greatness but was never able to stay on the field consistently. He also had to compete for snaps against some dudes that were pretty good.

Personal favorite play was this high step (dude loves him some high step) against Bama in 2022:

This was a very fun TD run against Auburn at Jordan-Hare in 2022:

He's struggled a lot with injuries and staying academically eligible.

Only has like 200 carries in 5 seasons at LSU.

had no clue he was even still part of the team.

he couldnt make grades, constantly suspended for this reason

he finally got his grades up then tore his ACL.

he's been on the team since 2019 and has played less than 200 snaps.

BK probably told him we need his scholarship for another younger RB or a DL piece

Damn. LSU can’t seem to keep QB’s or RB’s from transferring out.

I just want to point out that if this was an Alabama player, the narrative would be Alabama used him and ruined his career.

Dude he hasn’t even been on the roster this spring and is still recovering from an ACL tear. You’re trying to troll us but none of us were even aware that he still had any eligibility lol.

most figured he was moving on to the NFL, he met with teams during pro day and obviously couldn't work out for any teams due to injury
he got hurt late in the season and not many thought he would qualify for a sixth year
he likely won't be available at beginning of season due to injury and my guess is he is coming back that way he can be healthy for draft workouts heading into 2025 draft which will give him a better shot of making a NFL team
