Well, let's see....Kiffin seems to be good at evaluating/developing QBs.

Just wait until LSU can spend 50 million and get more five stars in one recruiting cycle than Ole Miss got in kiffins entire time at Ole Miss.

When Ole Miss beat Alabama in 2015, Kiffin was the one who wanted to start Bateman over Coker.
I think that was the last time I ever melted over a game and I was melting before it even started.

A college football program beating the architect of it's program with his former players the first time they face him has a precedent. It was at LSU in 2007- and it ended with a title.
Enjoy it now. What happened moving forward was a little more difficult. Consider that a cautionary tale....

Not in the 2nd half they weren’t. LSU’s wasn’t blitzing in the first half. Yall still weren’t able to run the ball the whole game. 63 yards. We just set the blueprint on how to beat yall in the 2nd half. Y’all’s D-line did handle our OL in the 1st half.
1st half baker rushed 3 and dropped 8 and yall still couldn’t run the ball. Chambliss is a good QB so he was able to pick us apart. 2nd half yall couldn’t handle the blitzes and Chambliss started to become inaccurate with pressure.
2nd half our OL was opening big lanes and the DL was starting to rush Chambliss. The Mahomes toss was just enough to turn the momentum for yall to hold on.
All in all I thought LSU would win big. However, after watching what we did in the 2nd half. If we play yall with Green healthy we’ll beat yall. Just like Alabama did to us in 2011.
