Geez, you guys should make up your minds. I seem to remember that every time some team plays Bama close, it doesn't mean Bama isn't as good as everyone thought, it means that the other team is much better than anyone expected. I even recall some teams rising in the polls after losing to Bama.
I find in interesting that your number of 20 points is over 50% more than the point spread for the game. LSU is 4-1 vs. the spread this year while Bama is only 2-3 vs. the spread, and I bet if we used that 1.5 times the spread you mentioned Bama would be 0-5. By the rule you made up no one should take Bama seriously.

We will not be taken 100% seriously unless we beat bama. We are supposed to beat Florida, whom last week was overrated, according to most as aubie was supposed to handle them.
So lets say we beat Florida by 14, the line, what does that prove? To some nothing. We are supposed to beat Auburn. Lets say we win that too and roll into BDS undefeated. That is the hope, however our team must take things one game at a time.
You guys are the litmus test. Always have been and that is how our fan base measures our team every year, and for good reason.
The floor for LSU this year coming in was 11-1 in my and many of our fans minds. I believed we had a great shot to win every game this year and so far we have stepped up to the plate.
The next 4 games will tell the story of this season. Geaux Tigers!

What we still don’t know, is how good LSU is, hence the thread
LSU could be the 2nd best team in the SEC, or they could be the 5th best. We really don’t know. If they beat Florida they’re probably in the top 3 though
