As an LSU fan let me explain.....
For years fans have been begging to stop being so damn predictable & vanilla on offense, especially given we saw in 2019 offensively! We wanted to be dynamic knowing we have the talent to be. Then we also have been wanting that edge back defensively because what we've been seeing recently prior to DC Baker coming in, was soft & lacking aggression & just wasn't an LSU defense. Than leading up to the game the relentless attacks & berating of our coach & program etc was exhausting. So to finally kick off the Kiffin era, go out there & skull f*ck Clemson. Show the SEC that we're gonna be a problem. Have a defense that will smack you around. It checked all the boxes fans have been wanting & begging for. And know we will play bad guy we will be the modern day 80's Miami Hurricanes a bunch of alpha dudes who know they're better than you and go out & put belt to a$$! Hope that helps!

This is exactly the point of my OP.
Based on beating an unranked team at home you've concluded that y'all are the new 80's Miami Hurricanes.

LSU didn't beat Clemson. They went straight Nagasaki on them. There's a difference.

Also add LSU was equally as bad as Clemson last season,
LSU new HC and 50 new players
The defense looked incredible and the offense was a revelation from years past.
Ole miss has sucked forever and theyvgetva good coach and now they talk then LSU took your coach and now youre left with a undeserving dc now HC that allowed 38 points vs Louisville in a defacto home game.
You better hope you can portal in a new secondary.

I think there’s some juice to the idea that Dabo is just fricking done with this shite and his program is starting to reflect that.
That being said impressive showing from the LSU Tigers to never Clemson get off the ground. Kept their dick in the dirt all game.
