Didn’t y’all hire him first knowing he was gay from the TCU stuff?

So they entered the portal because of uncertainty and to renegotiate.

He was also responsible for Stan Heath and the 24 hour exit of Dana Altman.

Hmmm I thought a$m did it as well based on the results. Who knew you've actually spent hundreds of millions on football roosters, you learn something new every day I guess.
If you are spending that much with mediocre results, you need someone else evaluating talent.
Some say we have abandoned football and men's basketball for baseball. It's my fovorite of the three but football pays the bills. We are lucky that baseball if profitable but that means it pays its own bills. You need the football to carry the other sports. I hope we can pour more into football without hurting the other sports. We are not going to be an Ohio State or Texas but we should be able to put a better team on the field than the last 3. I don't mean playoff level team but certainly not a 5-7 bowl team.

Arkansas is one of very few college baseball teams that generally makes money. In 2025 several million dollars were spent renovating and modernizing parts of the stadium.

If I was being serious and not trolling the idiot who said that A&M and Arkansas are on the same level because Arkansas kept the head to head matches close, I would agree. However, I would have to say that your response, which indicated you thought I was being sincere, takes the cake for “dumbest most ignorant” (lol, ever heard of a comma?) response today.

The problem is you can't build a "program" in football. Even if you have a good year you have to constantly invest or it all washes away in the portal.

Basketball has had one and dones for so long it was more ready as a sport for NIL and unlimited transfers.

So thanks for making my point about how very few college baseball programs make money?

They usually make money, but because of multimillion dollar renovation they did not make money last year. There I fixed it for you.

Maybe a Florida followed Arkansas‘s model. They could make money in baseball instead of losing millions every year.
