But he's originally from Mississippi. :\

I was raised in Oxford, AL but the government only cares about my place of birth for official purposes, and that place was Homewood, AL.

And Tebow was born in the Phillipines and RG3 was born in Japan yet no one says those places "produced" those guys.

That's fine. But his genetics come from Mississippi. It wasn't a troll and it doesn't matter to me one way or another.

On an added note; Jim Taylor was born in Baton Rouge but played for a time at Hinds Junior College in Ms. I did my Freshman year there and lived in one of the older dorms. There was a bunk in my room with the name Jim Taylor written on the metal bunk with magic marker. No idea if it was the same Jim Taylor but I'm gonna go with it was.

how does an LSU fan ask this? did you mean billy cannon jr?

He was presenting Billy Cannon as a counter to the OP given that Cannon Sr. was raised in LA, went to LSU, and won a Heisman, seemingly contradicting the OP.

Billy cannon was from meridian.

John David Crowe was from Louisiana.

Technically, LSU hasn't had a winner from Louisiana.

I mean, is this supposed to be a BOOM moment? We've only had 2 Heisman winners at LSU.

You must be a product of the Louisiana education system.

He was referencing John David Crow.

The troll comment was referring to OP. I realize I replied to your post, my bad.
