South Carolina isn't middle of the pack if it's tied for 2nd loudest in the country by decibel level.
Like I said. These lists are shite and these measurements aren’t standardized. Middle of the pack is still good when you consider UT/LSU/TAMU/UF/Auburn are probably the 5 loudest stadiums in the country.

I've been to all the stadiums you mentioned. SC is equal to any of those 5.

The times I’ve been in WILLY B…watching LSU, it hasn’t been all that impressive from a loudness standpoint.
Great fans though and a fantastic atmosphere.

Ask Mike Leach and Lou Hotlz and they will tell you War Memorial in Little Rock.
Leach was on Hal Mumme staff when they brought Tim Couch down in 98. I was there. Couch thre for 499 but Ark pulled it out.
Leach talked about it many times. WM was deafening when it was rolling and it was alot back in the day. Holtz said he almost pulled him team from the field when he brought SC to WM.

Went to Husky Stadium in 2009. That place was quiet as a church mouse.
I’d put every single SEC stadium above that place with maybe the exception of Vandy and Missouri.

I mean i thought LSU was overrated from a noise standpoint when I visited there as well so it goes both ways.

When we play easy teams like South Carolina has been sure. Try during an LSU, Tenn game. No one cares about playing South Carolina at UF...without Spurrier there is very liyttle reason too. But no..you are not even close to LSU, Florida, Aggies, Georgia , Alabama, Texas, etc...you do not hold nearly enough people..very easy to understand why..Your history is terrible. You have 0 SEC or National titles..now on the other hand. Clemson has a better history, better stadium, larger crowd, louder crowds, winning record verse you by almost 30 games..but you have women's basketball!!!!
Now if you want to go per person, that can be argued..but with under 80k capacity..you are not even in the ball park

While I have seen SEC teams play in Husky Stadium, Memorial Stadium at Berkeley, Palo Alto and the Rose Bowl, the only SEC venue I have been to was Auburn in 2015? for the San Jose State game. I was shocked at how quiet the stadium was. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that Auburn was playing a lower-tier OOC team and not an SEC rival. I have been known to shout “War eagle” to the occasional tourists I see here in Seattle wearing Auburn gear. It just rolls off the tongue.
I was quite impressed with the town of Auburn and liked the campus. My goal is to catch a game at Athens. According to my research, Athens is the best college town in the SEC and the game day experience is among the best.

All of these are matchup dependent. That goes without saying to anyone that actually goes to games . Not many places are tougher than Auburn against a big team

I bet it was the opponent. Auburn has a good crowd. Go there when they play a rival..it will be insanely louder

That’s fine but it isn’t.

Need more data. Is this just 2024, is this just the loudest point at a season, or the average over all home games? Is it the average for the loudest game? Not specific enough.

Too funny. I’ve been to husky stadium. Makes Ole Miss stadium seem giant. That’s a shite list

The loudest stadiums I have visited were
Death Valley(LSU)
Neyland
Lane Stadium
Im not adding The Swamp..been there plenty
Honestly at a certain point it doesnt matter if it a little higher...it is hard to hear in certain stadiums when the crowd is going.

Will that put yall above 60k? If not, yall should move back to the Big12 now that Texas and OU left.

I remember when LSU played at UW somewhere around 2009, the camera in the stadium was shaking while LSU was lined up on offense.
