Heard that if Mason is ousted at Vandy, Holtz would be the likely successor. Thoughts?

Not sure why they would need Lou. If Mason had lost control of the program maybe you bring him in to clean it up but that's certainly not the case.
They should go after some up and come and try to catch lightning in a bottle.
That and invest in facilities.

True. We barely even try in tackle football.

Isn't Holtz a bit old to take on another rebuilding project? I don't know exactly what his age is but I remember him coaching when I was a kid and I am getting a little long in the tooth myself.

I ended up sitting next to Mark May at the ATL airport this past Monday and talked to him for a good 30-45 minutes. He and Lou apparently just launched a brand new podcast together.

Not that this means he isn't returning to coaching (he's also 81 years old), but it would be odd for him to launch a podcast right before returning to coaching.

So I'm going to say no.

Ed Orgeron will be better than what they have now.

So he is going to get Vandy their first major NCAA violation?

Thinking the same as you... if there’s any truth to one of the Holtz heading to vandy after this season I’d put my money and then some on it being Skip
