LSU would’ve been the best team in 2012 had Honey badger not been kicked off the team. There have been multiple teams through the years where one or two key players kept them just short of greatness.

Lou must have forgot that tua played 100% of the snaps against LSU and lost

And played at about 75% healthy and still shredded LSU. What would he have done at 100%?

It's not a ridiculous take. bama lost 2 games by a single score each. They were without their 2 best LB's and in one game the QB was obviously hampered and in the other he was gone.

If he was 75%, he should have never been on the field.

I did love the fake limping at end of game though.

Tua could’ve been 1000000%. Still wouldn’t have helped that shitty defense.

Do people really think 2 LBs would’ve been a difference maker in that game? LSU’s WRs were abusing that secondary.

Burrow's timely use of his legs and the RB had more to do with beating bama than the WR.

Would Alabama be playing for a national title had Tua Tagovailoa and two star linebackers been healthy throughout the season?

1. What’s the point of playing the games if we’re just going to explain away losses for teams?

2. Is Alabama the only team with injuries?

Alabama was soft as hell when we played them. That didn't have anything to do with Tua. If anything Tua made a good but not great team look better than it was by masking their deficiencies.

That said, they probably would've still made it to the playoffs. The playoffs typically have one or two great teams and two or three good ones. Bama was definitely 'good enough.'

Our defense was a bunch of freshman in the front 7 including our 2 play callers.

It was a disaster.

Which is part of the reason why I think that team was soft. I think Tua gets you past Auburn and your past resume gets you into the playoffs but that Bama team was far from the best in CFB this year. It was still a very good team tho.
