Because Michigan lost their HC and all of their good players from last year went to NFL or hit the transfer portal. This team is nothing like last season’s team. But, TEX will still act like they beat the 85 Bears if they win.
Are you saying Texas wins because Michigan lost good players?
How many Texas players were drafted last spring? Was it half of the starting lineup?

It’s not “Texas love”, it’s realistic expectations. tu should win this. I hate them, but they should win this game. I have money on them but if they lose I’ll be happy. It’s a win/win for me. This is the way.

2 DT
1 LB
1 CB
All but 1 were starters. KRob was a special teams demon though, and a pretry good RB as well. Not sure why you are asking though.. but yes we lost a lot, primarily the 2 at DT, Sweat and Murphy.
Eta: I think we matched up great with Michigan last year.. if we got past UDub. No one could run on us.. but that theory would have been tested.
Penix and those wideouts were a horrible matchup for our secondary and lack of pass rush..
DT QB’s who can really spread the field.. that’s the way to beat Texas. This is also why OU has the upper hand the last 10 years..
Kyler, Baker, Hurts, Williams, Gabriel
that is our cryptonite against good teams.. we are our own worst enwmy against lower ranked teams.. we usually play up or down to their level.. but Sark is trying to change that.. we will see

I personally don’t think either team is as good as advertised. This will go to the fourth quarter and someone will win or lose in the kicking game and everyone will call this the game of the year. Then Texas will lose by 14 to Miss State 3 weeks later or some bullshite.
