Lots of SECr people wishing SEC teams well... except...

Lots of Alabama, Auburn, MS, Ark, et Al. fans on here cheering for the SEC teams including LSU. Alabama people rooting for LSU to take down Michigan, etc. and it is great to see. But...
...almost no LSUers have wished any other SEC team well.. the silence is deafening... and on Tr the hostility to other SEC teams is on full display in great detail, rooting against Florida, Arkansas, especially Alabama... WTF?
I wish I knew what caused an entire fan base to become so bitter and full of hate toward the rest of the conference. Good god... some T-fans froth at the mouth when declaring that any SEC school that wins anything subtracts from LSU somehow.
It isn’t new, Charlie Mac talked about it... but the question is when and why is this? The rest of the SEC has regional pride. Why is Louisiana so hostile? It’s like living in some foreign banana republic... weird.

I know we all talk shite on here, but LSU fans are REALLY hoping to beat Bama in the Elite 8. If they do this place will implode. I guarantee you Willy has 30+ hours of content saved up already for it.

I have always pulled for SEC teams to do well in all sports unless it directly negatively impacts LSU.

To be fair, there are lots of good Bayou Bengal fans here.
It just seems like the worst ones are the most consistently vocal.

This is true. I don't expect LSU fans to pull for UF or Bama. But they did seem to pull for Arky tonight, for the most part.
