You don’t know our AD. They way Oats handled the situation last year and being deaf tone will never fly with Mitch and at UK.

You can keep him as long as you want. Wouldn't be in our top 5.

Why can't you get this simple term right? It's "tone-deaf." I've never seen anyone frick something like that up in multiple ways. No wonder your posts and opinions are so shitty. Something is clearly wrong with your brain.

First of all - I do not think Cal is going anywhere at all. This is just message board babble.
That said, let me address your points:
Because Kentucky basketball is college basketball. They are the past, present, and future of the sport.
Alabama is barely a top 25 historical program that even their own fans and administration will not support.
Alabama does not belong in the same discussion as Kentucky regarding basketball. The gap is as wide as the gap between the two programs in football.
What????
Alabama won’t spend money on basketball and has proven it year over year.
They only care about football, spring football, recruiting for football and then they have interest in the Auburn, Kentucky, LSU, Arkansas, and Tennessee basketball games BUT ONLY if their team is ranked in the top 25.
If, big if, Kentucky offered the job to Oats - he would probably take a pay cut to go there. It’s a historical honor to be the head coach at Kentucky.

It's not like you can offer him more money than Alabama can. They can match you dollar for dollar and then throw a million on top of it.

That maybe comes off as pompous but I’d think the same if Alabama came to poach one ours in football.
Kentucky basketball is the most equivalent thing to Alabama football the rest of the SEC has. Both are the #1 historical programs in their respective sports.
I like Oats and would hate to see him leave, but would Kentucky seriously hire a guy that hasn't even made it past the Sweet 16 yet? Sure, conference titles are nice, but it's NCAAT success that defines true success in the sport. Regardless, I'd like to see Oats make a Final Four before he leaves, if he leaves.

Alabama won't spend money on an arena.
Alabama has one of the highest recruiting budgets in the sport, Oats is a top 10 paid coach and they have one of nicest practice facilities in the country.

Just had another sellout against a team not named any of the ones you mentioned. And our sellouts are 15K, not 9K.

I admit I have ne'er seen "deaf tone" before, but you should be more niciest to SEC royalty before this whole board Thunder Domes your ungrateful arse.
