Arkansas and Tennessee had a pretty good series going in the late 90's.

Basketball: Mizzou/Billikens. The 1999-2001 series was awesome. Both sides need to put their pettiness aside for the good of the state.

hell, I even miss Mizzou vs Kansas

due to both those states being were its located and lesser population, given the actual history, if these states were located on a coast it would be the most popular rivalry across any sport.

I absolutely believe Florida - Auburn should be played annually, but at this point fine with playing Miami just on occasion. Like the current direction of our OOC schedule.

Well, better hope they never meet in the first or second round of the tournament.

ha ya. Luckily they've only both been good at the same time like once in the last 15 years

I think that might be changing.

So you want Auburn, Florida, and Tennessee playing even tougher schedules? Hmmm....

If Texas & A&M can’t agree to renew the series then LSU and Texas should just renew for another home and home after this one’s up. Too much fun and too competitive to not do it again.

All for playing Auburn every year.

Screw supporting Miami Ponzi Scheming MFers. The only time they sell out is when UF and FSU fans fill their stadium.

Arkansas-Texas and Georgia-Clemson too

We owe them the back end of a home-and-home for the 2021 season iirc. If I had to guess, that game will be in little rock?

Idk, but either way I'm very excited to road trip for that game. I've only seen that game twice live, both in Texas, and Arkansas won both times. But I've heard the history that well predates my life is pretty rowdy.

UK and IU have a long rivalry in football and basketball both. I miss the football game. Neednl to add them back and drop one of the cupcakes. IU has been more solid of late too in the B1G. Not a terrible add on to our schedule.

I personally enjoy the UK/IU basketball rivalry more than I enjoy the UK/Louisville or UK/KU rivalry games

Out of the three you mention for Auburn, I would really push for the Au/Florida matchup to be annual again. I loved that series in the 90s, and even when we played them sparingly in the 2000s the game was usually awesome (including this past year, even though my Tigers lost!)

But Texas/Texas A&M is the number one matchup that needs to be reinstated, other than Texas got a little butthurt when Texas A&M left their conference for the SEC. I still do not understand why they don't play.

Yea. It's a shame that too much ego and business gets in the way, but I get both schools' (A&M and Texas) sides of the argument and their beef they have with the other. Whereas baseball, basketball (mens and womens), volleyball, tennis (mens and womens), etc. have all found a way to schedule those matchups post 2012, and the games have been electric and resulted in the some of the largest crowds of the respective seasons.

RE Texas & LSU: I sure hope so. Both baseball series were great (minus the sub 30 temp in Austin 2019) and so was the basketball game too. LSU fans definitely brought a good time. Looking forward to traveling to Baton Rouge for whenever that game occurs in this year or the next

was not aware that the Rebs played the Vols every year pre 1992

They played every year (that they fielded teams) from 1927-1991 with the exception of '39, 40 and '41.

This guy gets it. It’s such a great matchup every time. It’s fun for the players and fans. There’s a ton of LSU people in Texas. Every time we play UT it’s gonna be big. Texas folks love Louisiana culture and nola trips. It’s a no brainer IMO.
