Arkansas fans flooded every KU sports account in every social media platform shite talking the venue. College students live on social media. They also sit in student sections and drink a lot of beer. There you have it.

In any event, Dan Fitzgerald has made us demonstrably better each of the last 4 seasons. As long as he stays, you might expect another 1-2 articles about his success. Hopefully your psyche is more durable to it by then.

I only know one Kansas fan....married too my cousin...he is a very nice guy. They have adopted three kids as of now..so can't hate on him. He is a model citizen.

KU fans are kind of interesting... They are sort of like a northern version of Texas fans in that they think they are special and better than you. Texas is because they are Texans and they think they are the best breed of Texas.

KU elitism comes from the fact that Lawrence was founded by a bunch of New England snob types... and they have kind of carried that legacy on to this day. In the old Big 8 days... the joke was that KU was "Harvard on the Kaw"... because they fancied themselves as being sophisticates.

That being said, Lawrence, the campus and that pseudo New England/Ivy league feel is kind of cool for the plains.
