Fantastic news. He just needs more time.

This would have been a good year for Arkansas had Sam not botched the OC hire. The offense is one of the worst I have ever seen in the last 20 years.
Next year is going to another big struggle as a lot of key players will be gone after this year.

Yes, Arkansas redshirt players were really watching the Polar Express at halftime of the Auburn game.

Arkansas coaching hirings/firings 101:
- never listen to anything Arkansas media says. They are clueless.

Sam doesn't know how to use a remote control.

I mean, if the other option is broke down Gus bus, then yeah let's just roll with Pittman

We all know if Gus got the job that he would destroy Arkansas with malicious intent.

Especially Irwin, Otis, and the others that always make the most noise in their quest to "break the news first". I don't think any of them are batting more than .200

More like Gus knows he’s hated in this state and doesn’t want to come here because he’s hated from day one.

He's had 4 seasons. The program has been trending down and the sec is about to get tougher. Its not impatient.

Gus shouldn’t be an candidate, anyway.

Honestly, I think Pittman is a good coach.
Arkansas has 6 losses by a total of 36 points, and 3 top 15 losses (LSU, Miss, Bama) by a total of 13pts.

People want it, but they can’t have it if Pittman is still there.

Texas is losing most of our established players. Pittman being retained at arkie is our only hope for that game.

He’s had a lot of close losses except for Auburn. Give him a 5 year extension.

One of the intangibles at play here is the elimination of the divisions. I don't blame any of these schools that are currently functioning with moderate results to wait a year or two and figure out their program strategies.
Pittman's tenure will likely be decided by whether or not he can return to qualifying for bowl games. If he can't do that, he is toast.
