But let's be real, without Stetson Bennett and Brock Bowers, you have looked merely good not great on offense.
And without Carson Beck of late, an even further drop off occurred, making you look downright mediocre.

Carson Beck is a really good QB and player and upgraded in offensive systems at Miami.
I saw zero from Gunner that impressed me against Notre Dame.

So your basic assumption seems to be that losing players and getting new transfers means that UT will improve but for other teams that means they will get worse.
You do realize UGAs top 3 passing targets are different than last year, right?

Syracuse isn’t a pushover, but let’s not forget that the Vols dominated the LOS on Saturday against weaker ACC lineman. It’ll be interesting to see how the hog mollies do against conference competition.

I'm saying your new QB might be mediocre and you didn't look great most of last year with a legit NFL quarterback in Carson Beck on offense, just merely good.
Gunner went 14-24 against Marshall and threw for only 190 yards. Those are Nico type of numbers against cupcake competition.

We won the SEC and were the #2 playoff seed. Beck got hurt and our new QB failed to win his first start vs ND.

Gunner also won an SECC leading us to a come from behind win. In other words, he did more in 1/2 of football than the UT program has in 27 years.
Look, you can think Syracuse is better than UGA if you want. Don’t be surprised when we put up 40 vs that banged up DL in Knoxville.

I'm sure you guys are stacked as always on D. I expect a very low scoring game in two weeks with QB play and special teams being the deciding factor.
