With regard to the difference between national championships and conference championships, in this conference, you'll learn soon enough. Conference championships, in this league, earn you preferred seedings (of course). U of Texas has enjoyed better seedings in many sports because of their dominance in the Big 8. You'll not enjoy those same ncaa seedings a couple of years from now imho.

My Mother is a Texan so that has always made me half Texan ... which forced me to follow U of Texas closely for the past 60+ years in an effort to converse with that half of my family during holidays and hunting season in West Texas every year, etc., etc., etc. Plus Mack and I have the same Godfather, we've known each other since I was a kid so I was always rooting for him, he's a great guy. But this little petty thing your fans do ... it's irritating.

Let's all hope that you people (Texas fans and program) at least help to further bolster our Equestrian programs (as a collective) in this conference. Right now it's just SC, Auburn, UGA and A&M (and we dominate) but I am looking forward to Oklahoma and Texas (you all are renowned horse people correct?) joining the conference. NCEA Championships
