Are the seats now 11" wide to match Neyland?

That looks really great
LSU is firmly in just the middle of the pack with SEC baseball stadiums.

Not going to lie, that is really nice.. i know we all love us some football but nothing beats a nice spring day watching baseball with a cold beer... and man you Vols have a nice one for sure, enjoy... wish the Tigers weren't coming to town the weekend of Easter or I think I'd try to come out for that series with my Vawl neighbor!

That looks nice. I'm excited to see wha it looks like with all of the finishing touches added and the construction material/debris removed. Big win for the program to finally get everything modernized

I'd say they've done a good job, but I'm a bit surprised that they didn't just start over, as the old park imposed some limitations on what they could do to make it better. Besides the outfield dimensions, the way the seating goes straight down the line creates bad sightlines for seats down the line. Big ballparks usually design their seating so that it's set back further around the infield and then can be angled back toward the lines so that fans sitting down the line are looking at the infield and not centerfield. Not much they could do about that now, but that's not how you would design a ballpark from scratch if you intend to have a bunch of seats down the line and care about the fan experience.

It is because of the way Tennessee's campus is situated. The campus is sandwiched between downtown and the river. The only way to keep the stadium on campus was to renovate it. If they started over, then they would have had to move the campus off campus, and no one likes that.

"What an enormous, state of the art college baseball stadium!"
-Only the Mizzou fans on this board
(It actually looks really nice)

Great job Vols!
Maybe now that the stadium is first class you can name it after a man.

The facelift this program has had over the last 7 years is insane

For those wondering, Lindsey Nelson was a former UT play-by-play announcer for football. He also announced Notre Dame football and I believe was the NY Mets broadcaster as well.

In other words, about the same size crowd as y'all had at the men's basketball game last night vs. UT? I'd be embarrassed if I was a State fan with that pathetic turnout.
