I believe most ags are fully behind Fisher; however, he has been dealt a shitty hand with the covid crap and his starting QB aspiring to be the next Kap. He will have a tough job pulling the team together after Mond's divisiveness this summer to what most believed would be an easy 10 win season.

When the starting QB calls most of the alumni racist....it is not a good look. I personally would like to see him leave but short of that, would be fine if the season were cancelled. Agree with the previous poster that the AFS, the AD and other donor dependent orgs are hemorrhaging cash and commitments. I know of several BMA's who are pulling out and more threatening because school management can't get this shitshow under control.

All in all, a depressing situation. Mizzou has not fully recovered from their BLM experience and my school will likely follow their lead.?

If Jimbo is 'all that and a bag of chips', he should be able to win 10 games with the 2020 schedule.

Sept. 5 Abilene Christian
Sept. 12 North Texas
Sept. 19 Colorado
Sept. 26 Arkansas (in Arlington)
Oct. 3 at Mississippi State
Oct. 10 Fresno State
Oct. 17 at Auburn
Oct. 24 at South Carolina
Oct. 31 OPEN DATE
Nov. 7 Ole Miss
Nov. 14 Vanderbilt
Nov. 21 at Alabama
Nov. 28 LSU

He’s exceeded expectations in year one, met then in year two with a murderous schedule, and recruited lights out. Very excited about the next 2 years!

Can you drop a link to where Mond said this?

You’re trying to make the point that because we don’t accept failure, we are therefore spoiled? You arkansas fans never fail to amaze me. Yeah, sorry we aren’t complacent with losses in our program (which you must all be by now), I can see how it might look like that to a team that consistently finishes at the bottom of the SEC

Aggie loves Jimbo. Aggie doesn’t care about winning big. Winning big is for Tigers.

Anything less than 10 wins with that schedule would be unacceptable. Sets up nicely for A&M this year. No excuses

The only thing keeping us from openly wanting the season canceled is the chance that Mond would remain eligible.

Florida State faced similar issues, FWIW. Granted, Jimbo was allowing players to commit actual crimes at FSU, but that’s what A&M hired.

I wouldn’t expect Jimbo to be the type of guy that takes control of this situation

As an LSU fan, I’m used to perfection at this point

This makes me wonder because I am seeing dissatisfaction with Mond by Aggie fans. I have always thought Mond sucked. Not because of his BLM stance, but because he sucks as a player. It makes me wonder what could happen if a younger player emerged as a better qb than Mond. Would Jimbo be hesitant to move him ahead of Mond fearing the backlash from what I'm sure would be turned into a Kapernick "blackball" type of accusation.

This is about A sec coach doing something that could be in hot water to be fired

Coach O seems not in hot water

But Saban could be in hot water for what he did with playing politics against the majority

Fisher may have not gone against the majority of his fans

Very much so.

As for Mond ... I was the only Ag I knew who supported him.
Not only has he lost me, he’s incurred my wrath.
I hope to heck Coach Fisher goes with a different QB.
Anyone but Mond.

Because no other schools have had to deal with covid crap, only aggy. It’s not fair.

And you are one of the most level headed and easy going posters here. That you are mad speaks volumes and matches what I have heard from all my Aggie friends.

A&M has a serious problem on its hands and there is no easy solution.

My outsider opinion is screw mond and keep the statue. Let him and the others who support him get pissed. If they transfer and leave don't let the door hit them on the way out. You would be better off.

I think the university will fold though. Your president Young is about as far left as they come. He will make it his mission to remove all references to Sul Ross from the school.

Which sucks. I'm not an Aggie but am a proud Texan and it makes me furious to see our history erased like this.

The question is will Sharp cave? Sharp is already strongly disliked to say the least and if he caves he may lose nearly all of the big donors.

They thought he could turn around the mess Sumlin left on defense and the o-line in just two seasons? Your friends are morons.
