Your president Young is about as far left as they come.

Why did the Board of Regents hire that lefty in the first place?

He is doing the typical lefty things. Instead of telling Mond to go pound sand, he appointed a "task committee" stacked with his fellow leftist. The group will come back with a decision to remove Sully. Young will hold a news conference and say "golly gee, I to remove the statue but our unbiased committed said it was the thing to do."

The mistake is recruiting IMG players. They have given up on their high schools to play semi-pro sports.

If a QB playing Texas High School football is any good, he does not need to head to a football factory to improve his chances to get a scholarship.

Thanks Sumlin

There were 3 players from IMG in A&M's 2017 class:

Kellen Mond - already discussed ad nauseum

Santino Marchiol - the racist fricktard whose dad attempted to get A&M in trouble with the NCAA which was the basis for the investigation which netted the recent slap on the wrist. He transferred to Arizona, accused A&M of impropriety to try to get immediate eligibility, and was kicked off the team after a video appeared on social media of him calling his former teammates "monkeys". He then attempted to walk on at Colorado in time to play against A&M in 2020 but was kicked off the team after being charged with sexual assault.

Jhamon Ausbon - slightly above average receiver and Moon Moon's roommate.

I still think they went with what they thought was the splash hire and jimbo played both a1m and LSU... just to get more money. Plus, I think saban had some behind the scenes work going to help jimbo get there. In the end, LSU looks like they made the right call and honestly, if you put saban at a1m in place of jimbo then he's probably got at least on SECW title.

Yep. Good to go.

see — mister sausage answered for all

Fun Facts:
Jimbo is 2-0 in 2 yrs Bowls = Happy Sausage

In 2018, they won Tax Slayer Gator Bowl whipping NC St 52-13, going 8-4, finishing 16th in final AP poll behind #9 Texas

In 2019, they won Texas Bowl beating OK St 24 to 21, finishing 26th in a Final AP poll with a 7-5 Record behind # 25 Texas

Jimbo is 15 — 9 (.625) in 2 years with 2 Bowl wins but finishing behind Texas both years & losing that Top 25 Ranking after that vicious 50-7 mauling in Baton Rouge and they are
good to go

It's two years as stated, the real question mark on the season apart from whether it'll be played is Mond.

I was expecting him to have a substantial increase in competition rate with multiple junior receivers, but obviously that didn't happen. I'm guessing his talent level has peaked (he throws away roughly a good freshman level at this point 60%) in his junior year.

If he can somehow defy consensual logic and start being a hell of a lot more accurate, we have a chance, otherwise I'm thinking 9-3 season awaits.

The social justice warrior thing he's got going on is just going to be even more of a distraction.

My 2 son in laws are BIG AGGIE Fans and they are about done with it all!! They are sick of Mond being stupid and knows Jimbo can't handle him just like Winston. They like many Aggies will give up their season tickets if the statue is removed.High dollar donors are threatening to pull their money. Truly a divided situation in Aggieland.

The difference is that Winston never threatened major donors or called them racist. Mond and some of his teammates have.

Look at the post history. It’s the same thing over and over again. How he’s still here is beyond me.

Actually don't look at the post history. Take our word for it and spare yourself the misery.

Less Miles was an IDIOT. NO he did not leave us with a good program. It was hard to watch his buffoonery. If he was so good, why did it take him so long to get rehired?

Miles kept the recruiting and program in tact. Same can’t be said for a majority of fired coaches.

Typical Aggie, always an excuse. Like every team didn't get hit by Covid. My Aggie family is already fed up and knows Jimbo can't handle problems, look how he handled Winston. He won at LSU under Daban and at FSU with Bowden's team.

I'm fine with him. We will see if he can deliver soon enough, but it won't be this year. There is zero chance that football is played this Fall
