And Jimbo lost 50-7 to LSU. How is that any better than Sumlin losing to Alabama in blowout fashion? Y’all are so delusional it’s not even funny

Lol, I absolutely love it that Jimbo went to tamu and we got orgeron. Orgeron runs laps around Jimbo and he's just getting this thing rolling in baton rouge. Thank God we got O and not Jimbo.

LSU was in bad shape at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and at qb when Les got fired actually. Orgeron had to work his arse off to build what he has built up to this point at LSU. He's done a hell of a job in just a few years. Yeah, LSU wasn't in good shape at all in the trenches and at qb though, if you kept up with our roster and analyzed it when miles left and O took over. We had very little depth and a lack of talent at qb. O fixed all of that in short order. That's a fact.

Fact is LSU did win a National Championship when Les was HC at LSU! How can that be so if they were Champions?! Texas A&M not even close to being on the same level as LSU! That is why it is taking Fisher longer and will need to get everyone ready at the same time to have a chance to compete. LSU wasn't far off for another one when LSU fans did mention a couple of years ago that they were a quarterback and a receiver and offensive coach away to win with Orgeron.

Dude, LSU won a natty in 2007 under Les miles, made it to another in 2011 and didn't make it to another title game of any sort the last year's miles was coach here. We had big-time problems with depth on our lines and it's not a secret that our qb play was way subpar under miles. I recognized the problems with our roster and went after the info talent and transfer market to fill our needs. He has since recruited us back to where we should be on the lines and we are fine now. Our qb play goes without saying and he's continued to stock the qb talent for our future as well. It's no secret among LSU fans that we had major problems in the areas I mentioned when O took over for miles...he addressed them in short order.

I'm not arguing that LSU wasn't in better shape than Texas am from a talent standpoint, I'm just stating the facts as to why coach O has done a much better job than Fisher has done so far and it's not close. It's not like orgeron was handed the keys to a Ferrari or something when miles left bc that's not the case. He built it to what it is now in short time. Jimbo hasn't done shite anywhere close to that at tamu. I'm just saying that coach O has done a much better job than Jimbo has done at their respective programs and I don't see that changing anytime...like ever. I don't see Jimbo making tamu into a title contender at all. He hasn't done shite and they're getting the same results they got with sumlin lol. Coach O is building a sustainable title contender here at LSU...Jimbo isn't at Aggie. Jimbo won't finish his contract out there, jmho. I see another 3 or 4 seasons, then he will get the can, he's not an elite coach.

What does it say that we are having this discussion about Jimbo and how much support is behind him. That can’t be a good sign.

I'd say it's only been two seasons and it will take a bit of time to undo the culture of softness built under Sumlin.

I like the direction he has taken them, but we are still a couple of seasons away from having the horses to compete in the west.

LSU had a very unbalanced roster and no QB when Orgeron took over. Below Avergae on the line of scrimmage. Only 9 offensive lineman. Anyway.

Those folks probably don't understand how hard it is to compete in the SEC. Every team is under tremendous pressure to win. Jimbo has been A&M's best overall recruiter since he got to A&M. Better than any coach before him in the rivals era. He is getting there. I'm happy.
