Unsure myself but agree with you. We need to be all over the duncanville and desoto programs. They are churning out talent at an insane pace
Idk about all that. I think this is the exact type of player that we go all in for in 2026. We aren’t gonna back the truck up for a QB this year as we wait for the ‘27 class. This kid is a STUD.

If we don’t go all in for Boobie, then who do we go all in for? Plus the other top guys we are after are LA boys, so if they don’t already want to go to lsu for relatively decent money, eff em.

We need to open up the desoto pipeline to lsu again
Idk where Jonah actually lies as a prospect but his brother Nick Williams was a 2nd round pick out of HS and signed for 500k 12 years ago. Nick eventually cracked the top 100 prospects and had a couple decent seasons for the Phillies. He’s toiling around in the Mexican league now.

I think the talk about Jonah going to the MLB draft has more to do with the fact that his family is obviously okay with going the minor league route out of HS. Tho NIL has changed the landscape dramatically
I was thinking either him or Dee Anderson

Von Miller was highly sought after out of Desoto, including by LSU

The huge OL from West Virginia going back home during the summer opened a spot for a 2 Star WR out of St. Rose to sign late in the class
Couldn’t agree more. Walker Howard looked very small in his uniform whenever he got mop up duty in the bowl game for LSU. He sorta reminds me of Shea Patterson, talented but a little small
These are the most hollow stats I’ve ever seen. Carr was dreadful to start in most games. We’d get down by 3 scores and then he’d pour on some empty calorie yards and TDs in the 4th quarter to have a respectable line but saints still lose
Pretty sure he started a huge family, like Phillip
I will watch Any Given Sunday this weekend, thank you

Was Melvin Jones (FB/LB) from west gate? Man i was so excited about him when he signed
Ed Paris, originally from Nola (i think) and relocated to Arlington

This is flat out ridiculous. Sage Ryan was awful and one of the reasons the defense was terrible. It’s OK to say an LSU player is bad.

Idk why we can’t criticize him cause “he’s a tiger and played hard”. That’s cute in middle school; in the real world it’s do your job or GTFO. Sage Ryan has underperformed and it’s OK to wish we had someone better than him

How do you not understand those types of responses? Saying he played his arse off in my opinion is worse than saying he just didn’t care. If he played his arse off, the fact that he didn’t contribute diddly-poo to a historically atrocious defense is sad.

What makes you think he has the potential? He has been granted countless opportunities and has consistently not performed.

Was the grass not greener on the other side for him? I’m not afraid to say that I was happy Sage was leaving. Consistently underwhelming, regardless of position
This is wild, I never knew about the retroactive heismans given out. Do people count those? I think Fowler said Daniels could be lsu’s third winner early in the presentation
What is BI’s max? Lol he hasn’t done anything of significance aside from making one all star team 5 years ago.

This is Ingram’s 8th season, he is what he is at this point. A fringe all star talent, a solid piece, but not someone you build around
Spencer Sanders is the more apt example. He was a 3 year starter at OSU before transferring to be the backup

Extremely disappointing. I can’t recall a single play he’s made all year. Granted, he faces many double teams. This defense needs him to play like an all American. Maason has to step up
Smu is gonna be on the same level as Boston College and Wake Forest in the ACC. Not Clemson and FSU. Money doesn’t fix everything, ask A&M
