The Vols are going 9-3. That is not a bad schedule for them to possibly make the playoffs. Lord help us.
Also why are we playing Tennessee in the middle of October?

I don’t see Tennessee beating Florida.

If they lose the three games that you think they'll lose, they won't make the playoffs. Their best win will be over Kentucky.

Until we start doing it consistently I don't either. Really screwed the pooch not kicking them while they were down. But we haven't really been more 'up' than them save for the past 2-3 years

The series is going back to it's roots.
From 1916 through 1991, Tennessee and Florida did not play earlier than mid-October. It was the Roy Kramer derived "rivalry" that moved the series to September (as part of conference expansion).

Through the middle of the schedule we have 1 road game and 2 byes over almost 2 months
Very odd schedule, but a nice one

I think the SEC and CFB were down last year and UGA has dropped off more than people think... literally unraveling by arrests this entire off season. Bama was not very good last year yet UGA with Bowers and Mchonkey still couldn't topple them. Color me unimpressed.
Vols have a real chance of going undefeated. NC State and Oklahoma on the road early on will be key tests though that set the tone for the entire year.

Yea, how do we get one of those late season UTEP games? I'm jelly.

Vols were supposed to play Oklahoma this year in non conference game, but that obviously was cancelled
Our schedule actually got easier than it would have been without OU/texass joining

Exactly what you said after 2020 and after 2021 and after 2022……just keep repeating it and you might get it one day.

Oklahoma was our original non conference game you dunce. Tennessee plays a hard schedule every year and you know this.
NC State and Oklahoma were our original non conference games. Both are very high quality opponents and on the road and early in the year.
If those two were our only two losses of the season I'd understand because they are early and on the road. Vols will get it done though. Vols almost always play a good ACC opponent OOC recently.

Best bet is Tennessee fans want a change so that their team can actually beat Florida.
