I feel like there’s no way this can be possible when the states of Alabama and Mississippi are in the sec. I mean I could be wrong, I haven’t had many interactions with Florida fans.

The best part about that was UF going after the absolute last person Jeremy Foley would ever hire (back in Mullen's case). Foley was the guy stalking Mullen after he left Florida and periodically as his name would come up for better jobs, calling ADs and telling anyone who would listen that Mullen is a terrible person and not to hire him.
As soon as Foley left, they went and got they guy he hated most in life.

They think 1 hour from Gainesville is considered a neutral site while the other team has a 5 1/2 hour trip.

Honestly, I don’t have anything negative to say. Made my first trip to Gainesville last year, and it was great. The fans were super nice, and showed us a hell of a time at the tailgate. Gators are good in my book.
