Tech this year beats the hell out of playing Oregon and OU at their respective primes and while your own team sucks. In SEC play we've finally got a roster worth a shite while there's some uncertainty with others that we may be able to capitalize on.
If the Vols survive that murderous early season, and Va. Tech should be very winnable game... then yes, this could shape up to be a 10 win season.
Do the Vols make the CFP even if they make and win the SECCG? I can't say, I think the committee will hose us one of these years just to show they aren't biased.
If Butch goes full on spread/triple option or Dobbs develops a solid passing touch then the Vols have the talent to win it all. I'm just not sold on Jones to deliver that right now.

Well... A&M at Auburn, the visitor has won all 4 years and will again (It is written). That's the only one I care about. You fellers can go 11-1 the rest of the season and I'll be fine with that.

I honestly think I have a pretty good grasp on what every SEC team is, with the exception of Auburn and A&M. I'll say 7-5. Losses to Clemson, LSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Alabama.

7-5 with a better bowl than Bham...they will show improvement on defense. But if Gus doesn't get his head out of his arse and adjust that stubborn play calling, hire a damn QB coach and stop fielding a predictable offense then the patience of the fans will really wear thin by the end of the season.
